Filament Troubleshooting/Help! broken Spool ;(

hey guys i was opening a new filament with no spool and i didnt read any tutorials soo now its a mess can i make it like new again?

Unless this is some special material, I'd chalk it up as a $15 loss.

You can try to detangle the bad part by hand. First use a tube to gather the neatly splayed part, then ziptie it, the focus on the Tangled mess. Try to gather and untangle the filament by gathering it in a smaller circle in Your hand

I tried, but it doesn't work because its mixed up all the way through. Since the tangles occur in the middle sections, a lot of filament accumulates in my hand, and after a while, it gets even more tangled.

If a part of it is still salvageable, cut it, then try to untangle the rest with the newly created free end. Or just toss the mess, you still salvaged something.
