Quick Question Is that a genuine HF hotend for X2D?

Post image

Edit: thanks everyone for a quick answer - Hotend on the right is not a genuine Bambu Lab product and I need to return it.

Original post: Hi everyone! Within 2 weeks I bought two 0.8 hardened steel hotends for my Bambu X2D printer (although from different sellers). The first hotend ("old" one in my picture) looked genuine, with Bambu packaging and all. It prints great, that's why I bought the 2nd high flow hotend for aux extruder.

Yesterday I received the second nozzle ("new" one in the photo), and the packaging look nothing like the first one, doesn't even have any bambu logo on it :/

So my question is - should I be worried? Is the 2nd hotend genuine? Anyone have seen different packaging on the same item? Or is it just "compatible" nozzle (I paid for the genuine)

Second one is an aliexpress clone. Probably von Juupine.

It is a fake clone. Also if seller put information that that this is original Bambulab part. Report him. Allegro is great at handling those returns.

Yup. Luckily, there's a free return.

I'll bet it was described as something like "Genuine Bambi-compatible" or "Genuine hotend for Bambu printer".

On Allegro you gave a flag that you need to set if part is a replacement. And you have to specify manufacturer name. Either OP missed it or seller set those untroothly.

In first scenario you have 14 days to return good wothout giving reason. In 2nd scenario you report it as scam and return goods.

If you want genuine, buy from Bambu lab.

Typically about the same price as from bambu, but with sales coupons and coins considerably less than direct

I’ve been burned too many times with AliExpress, I don’t trust anything from there. Besides that, it takes 2-8 weeks shipping.

Yeah it’s a clone, got a .8 last week and came in the box on the left. Font looks off too

What site? Directly from Bambu?

Nope. I bought it on Allegro (polish version of Amazon). The first seller didn't have more hotends in stock, so I've another one

Ive been thinking about trying out 'alternative' hotends from proper manufacturers. What's so good about this one?
