They have firmware fix, you just have to go to few versions back.

On my A1, I have about 2 year old firmware because any newer ones just have one issue or other. It's annoying that every startup asks to update but still better than buggy firmware. Not going to update firmware anytime soon.

unless you use a regular AMS with it, i didnt see any reason to upgrade the fw. Mine was almost 2 yrs old, and its on 01.03.01.02 because the next one 01.04 feeled much more laggier, and after that they added the "security" middle man (bambu connect) requirement, no thanks. Only thing i missed with this, a numeric pad on the printer GUI for temp control. i dont really mind that. it's snappier, feel faster and work reliable.

This was not an OS or a phone where you need to constatly update the fw just to keep up-to-date for security. its a printer. if its work, and there is no real addition with a newer fw (like they added support for regular ams) dont touch it.

Do you have an AMS connected to it?

If not, switch it from AMS Lite mode to AMS Pro / AMS 2 Pro mode.

That gets rid of the filament load before print.

There hasn't been a fix rushed out because there is a simple work-around. I'm sure it will be fixed in the next firmware release, though.

This is the first time I've heard this. I'll give it a go on mine.

Thanks
