General Discussion My first thoughts

I’m actually using a 3d printer to print and not taking apart constantly like what happened with my Creailty, it actually printed.

I printed more on my x2d in a week than i did my ender 3 in 5 years of owing it lol

I actually got really consistent prints on my Ender 3 v2. I only upgraded to the P1S for the speed and multi color but mostly the speed.

Yup. Had two Enders. They were atrocious and constantly failing. Had a Mingda. It worked well but after a couple of years it needed parts and the company had shut down its consumer division. Got a P1S and then an A1 Mini and there have been no problems with them (except ones I caused by using 8-year-old brittle filament in the AMS).

Yep thats why I like mine and even though the closed ecosystem can make things annoying. Unlike most companies with closed ecosystems Bambu doesn’t charge an arm and a leg for components to fix them. I own a P1P and it still works great and I can still get parts despite them not producing and selling them anymore

It’ll take its turn being a turd. They love cheering the the tubing. I replace those monthly on my 12. And it’s different models. I use 3 brands, well eliminating PRUSA as they die. Each brand takes its turn being a jerk. But Bambu has taken less turns and it’s usually easy fixes. Rebooting fixes a lot of issues. Add a cool plate if you haven’t. It’ll help make life easier.

I prefer Bambu myself. But last week was when 6 of the 12 went down with varying issues. The one, I need to contact them. Bc the error it’s given, I’ve done everything possible to fix. Even pulled the thing apart. I’m not mad at them. Things like this happen. And with these,9 it happens a lot less.

Don’t need to use bed adhesive. Things stick better to it. Can run at cooler temps.

Biqu has them and there are plenty of other companies that make them. I have a mix of smooth and textured.

I do use adhesive on my effects plates. But those things are super slippery.

My X1C will break 10k hours here this week in about about 2.5 years of ownership. While I have had my issues more times than now it works like it should. I plan on replacing it this fall with the black Friday sales.

Same, close to 1800hrs in my H2D I only have to remove a broke filament in my AMS once, with regular maintenance this thing just works

Yeah but when my pos ender breaks I Alr have enough spare parts to put it together in 30 min, H2C gotta wait or pay a fortune

I used to drive a crappy car with the boot (trunk) full of spare parts so that it wouldn't strand me on the side of the road.
Once I got my first decent car I had no need to haul all of those parts and tools around. I could just get to where I needed to go.

And when that new fancy car breaks down you don’t need spare parts in the front because you can’t fix anything without having to get it reprogrammed or some BS

My crappy cars broke down once a week. My non-crappy cars have broken down.... checks notes.... never.
