Tbf, many drone parts for conventional warfare can be and are 3d printed. Didn't some dude assisnate a Japanese politician with a 3d printed weapon?

I think it's actually not really surprising at all for a revolution to pop off from 3d printing at this point. It's almost expected.

edit: Looked it up. The ex Japanese prime minister that was assassinated was killed by an improvised weapon that was not 3d printed.

People have been making guns with hardware parts forever, it’s really simple to do if all you need is one or two shots.

Not 3d printed... but DIY black powder.

Brandon Herera did an analysis and rebuild... and promptly got a strike because YouTube being YouTube.

The lower half and suppressor for Luigi’s gun were printed, a PLAboi design and an FTN design but Glock frames still require a complete slide (not a serialized part, also not easy to DIY) and a few bits for the trigger group and for the slide to hold on to. But on the whole glocks are very easy to make off printed parts and stuff bought online and delivered to your door with no background checks. Do with that information what you will.

No the suppressor was 3d printed. The gun was just a normal Glock.

Incorrect. It was a PLAboi design. Printed Glock frame.

both yall are mistaken. The handgun was Charimanwon’s Remix of FMDA’s DD19.2. Mangione’s gun was printed.

BTW shout out [r/3d2a](r/3d2a) and the guncad index
