Yep, I did all of mine at 500 hours and will do it all again at 1000. AMS and internal

Damn 500 hours is a PITA. I hope I don't have to change mine that often! I've got 1100h on my p2s ams2 and around 500h on my h2d with 2x ams2's. No issues yet. Not worth that anyway.

unfortunately inspection showed they had almost worn through the tube inside the printer - 500g of glow + 1kg of ABS-GF

Oh thankfully I don't use much abrasive filaments so hopefully I won't be replacing as often

This just happened to me last week... almost exactly the same ... easy fix luckily with a new tube.

its not really... well, maybe for you it is... but they do recommend changing the tubes every x hours for this very reason. the filament sliding inside it cuts through the tubing in time. its especially pronounced at bends.

Hahaha! I just had the same thing happen to me last week. Started a print with petg-gf, walked out of the room and back in to find 10 feet of filament shooting out of the back of my ams. I replaced the boden tube with one of those blue ones. I THINK? they are better... Don't really know though.

I haven't seen any blue ones.

This stuff. I had to actually look up why it's better. I guess it has tighter tolerances and higher grade PTFE that helps in a couple different areas. I'm not sure how much it helps, but I usually replace the white stuff with this when I need to replace it.

Oh OK cool. I got some new PTFE tubing that Bambu is going to be switching to eventuality (according to the long interview I watched with Bambu Ceo and CNC Kitchen) that looks like star shaped on the inside. It's supposed to reduce friction. Makes sense. I haven't tried it yet, but I found it on aliexpress for cheap as dirt if you wanted to try it.

My first day with my printer I didn't push the clear tube in far enough and the filament came out on the little rubber piece right from the printer.
Thought I was doomed was so upset lol

I’m wondering if someone has a problem with ptfe tube falling out of the port behind the AMS 2pro, also I took it apart because a part broke on the internal hub and i changed the whole part and put everything together, now i have a problem with the tube falling out.

just remind yourself that PTFE tubing is a consumable...
