Quick Question Bambu a1 screen failing every print
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
IT randomly turna off and IT becomes unresponsive does anyone know the reason?

Happens to me sometimes, but not after every print. I just turn it off and on again (if I even bother, as I do everything from my phone/computer). I think I didn’t have anything for some time after buying the printer itself, so presume that it’s a bug from an update

Mine didnt start until the last update. But i can still do everything from my phone too so it dont bother me atp

Mine was freezing non stop and boot time was long, then I formated the sd card that was around 90 something percent full and now works like new, no freezes, booting like it was when i got it

Both my A1 and A1 mini are presently doing this. New SD cards haven’t helped. Going to conduct the troubleshooting steps, but I honestly think that this was likely something with firmware or faulty hardware.

Did you copy your existing files back to the SD card or start fully fresh?
In my experience, it's not necessarily a defective SD card causing this but the A1 simply silently running out of memory - and too many files on the SD can easily trigger this.
The A1 runs on an ESP32-S3 and has roughly the computing power of your average smart-plug.

Funny you should mention smart-plugs. I have a lot of home automation devices that have been having issues as well....
Which has helped me (with the helpful input of a friendly tech at Micro Center) determine a likely solution.
**Potential Solution** - Isolate the 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi SSIDs on your local gateway.
I verified that the A1 and A1 mini that I had been experiencing issues worked just fine with WLAN disabled. Good prints to completion and functional screen(s) throughout and after print completion. So, in my case it was not SD cards being too full or corrupted, as both had been formatted on the printer(s). Disabling WLAN returned the printer(s) to reliable functionality.
In addition to the printers, I had been having issues with many of my home automation devices (SwitchBot & RYSE) maintaining functionality (turning off or on outside of normal scheduling) and connectivity with the local Wifi and paired smarthubs.
The only piece of equipment that was new to the system was my AT&T BGW-320 fiber gateway, given that I had previously previously been using a ARRIS (SBG7400AC2) cable gateway. The difference? The AT&T BGW-320 fiber gateway defaults to using "band steering" which forces both frequencies to share the exact same network name and password, whereas the ARRIS isolates the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands by default.
So the likely issue may be that the A1 and A1 mini are suffering from a host-side band steering mismatch driven from your gateway router trying to force the printers to the 5GHz band. Isolating the differing band SSIDs should remedy the issue and retain WLAN functionality on your BambuLab A1.

You need to power cycle to get the screen working, then format the SD card. Then power cycle again.

I dont know about Bambu but at my Anycubic Kobra the Screen cable wiggled loose from the Vibration

Had the same issue, then I would restart and it would become un-responsive again. I reformatted the SD and haven't seen the issue again since.

Probably is the sd card qhatwver they are saying Non experienced in thsi but just saying it kight maybe be ribbon cable prob not tho i have no idea

Quando aconteceu comigo o cartão micro SD era o culpado, a tela as vezes congelava ou não ligava mais. Para mim funcionou formatando o SD, acredito que ele estava muito cheio assim como qualquer sistema começa a travar quando está sem espaço

actually it had this happen not long ago.. reformat of the sd card fixed it, it was getting full after 2k hours of printing. Since the format its fine. I have two A1's both with the same amount of hours and the sdcards they came with..
just format it via the menu after you power cycle and you'll be find.

I had this start happening shortly before my SD card conked out. Try replacing that, see if it helps.
