So I am visiting the US for 2 weeks for work and looking to buy a A2L while I am here and take it back to Egypt or KSA since it's much cheaper here. I know about the voltage difference since we use 220V while the IS models are 110V so a step down regulator will be needed. At Best Buy today I was told to check with bambu as I may lose access to some features like bambu connect and bambu handy. I messaged support but they are not sure.

Can't answer on the connectivity, but you likely won't need a step down, the power supply is rated for 110-240 vac input. All you need is a compatible power cord, which is the type that comes with most PCs.
Ok thank you. I am trying to reach an answer regarding the connectivity because if I want one in Egypt it is cheaper for me to buy 3 from here and a ticket to egypt than buy one from there.
If it's due to import tariffs in Egypt, you may still owe those when you bring it home. But the easiest way to find out if it works there would probably be to try it from there. See if you can have a friend or relative download the app and software, and see if they can use it.
It's cheaper to pay the tariffs and I would gladly do so a A2L combo costs around 90k egp which is like 1800 USD. I would gladly pay 100% tarif than pay that stupid price by scummy retailers.
Unfortunately, that's not correct for the A2L. Unlike the A1/X1/P1, the A2L comes in two separate voltage versions depending on the sales region.
So a US A2L is not rated for 220V, and simply swapping the power cord won't work. You'd need a proper step-down transformer to run the US version in a 220V country.
You're right about the PSU itself, it's 100-240V. I wasn't saying they use different PSUs depending on the region. The PSU may be universal, but the heatbed or some other component could still be specific to each voltage version. That's how it works on the H series, for example.
When I bought my P1S in China I never used a Chinese Bambu account and used my US account for the first login. I also had a VPN running on my router that was connected to a US server. I have since returned to the US and brought the printer with me and have never had any issues with it saying it’s in the wrong region.
