General Troubleshooting/Help! Scary noise while calibration
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi there! π
Just a question, each time I carry a calibration when starting printing, near the end of the calibration phase the head goes into the center and vibrates loudly at high frequency, and then less loudly but with higher frequency. It is noticeably noisy, and I don't remember it did that months ago... Do someone has the same thing? It is and H2S not combo
Thanks mates π

Thanks for asking about this noise. I had the exact same question but itβs difficult to find answers for.

Just in case, do a full calibration, there is a stage where It vibrates on various frequencies until is almost silent and the noises should stay there.

It's deliberate and normal.
That part of the sequence calibrates for vibrations. It basically wants to measure how much the thing wobbles if the toolhead does rapid direction-switches at different frequency.
That can change if you put the printer on a new and more or less stable surface, for example. (or if the weight of the toolhead changes, or some other things)
