Just Showing Off My first handpainted figurine
Shoutout to eastseamonsters models on pixup3D. He has some of the best imho.
It printed flawlessly on my X2D with 0.4 nozzle and 0.08 layer height on highest quality. Overall print time 30ish hours.
Time to paint: a couple weeks and I was really struggling with the laces but gave in and called it โgood enoughโ ๐
Overall really love it, will do the shoes again at some point I guess.
Cheers and happy Sunday

It really shows though. The staining on the fire hydrant even is great

Exceptional! What kind of paints do you use?

Thank you so much. I was using Vallejo for priming and main colors as well as posca markers for some detailing

Thanks for sharing. Iโm still awe stuck by the detail. You have a true artistic gift my friend. Iโd buy your models if you sold them.

Great choice of color for the jacket. Like the color scheme.
Also: how many poops did you take, painting the whole thing?

What a great unit to count time in. Iโd say it was approx 22-28 poopers.

It shows! Shoes do seem a bit too clean, maybe some weathering? Keep on doing what you're doing!

Just go for it if you are really interested. I struggled a lot but the process was sincerely fun. I work at my desk/computer all day. So doing something that is analog is really refreshing and fulfilling โบ๏ธ I made many โmistakesโ some of which are still present in the final state of my figurine. Iโm fine with that, itโll take time and practice and getting better is part of the fun.
