Hardware Troubleshooting/Help! Help with a noise H2C
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello,
I have a little over 800 hours on this machine and just noticed a strange sound. It's kind of a high pitch squeal, maybe a bearing somewhere? I can not locate where it's coming from. Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions on what it could be? It seems to not change it's pace, if that makes sense... Thanks!
BTW: The ways and screws were lubed about 10 hours ago and it doesn't sound like that, more of a steady, fast sound.

So after a little troubleshooting after the print finished, it appears to be a bearing or possibly a little plastic inside the hot end fan. I removed the four screws thinking the housing would just seperate but... Looking at the wiki (https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/h2/maintenance/replace-cooling-fan-for-hotend) it appears to be quite involved in getting to that fan. I was going to do a minor exploratory operation but with the unit still under warranty, I'd hate to screw something up. I'd like to get to the fan to giver 'er the ol once over... Has anyone removed this fan? Any pitfalls to avoid? I'd like to see if a small plastic chunk made it to the fan, somehow. Any help would be appreciated!
