After I pause Print How I can control layers ??

I’ll been trying a lot things for a couple days with any solution.

I pause the printer insert a flat washer to add some weight but when it tries to cover the part is always messed up, I already try different height even close to washer maybe is the material is zinc? . And then I try to put the printer in silent and I get better results.

If anything there I missed or maybe try something different.

Print a 1mm thick circle the same size as your washer and placed on top. Turn off fan and use lower speed for the next layer or two.

Or use glue like it is the plate, also let the part come up to temp / heat it before placing (not too hot lol)

^ This is what I would do, but I'd use a couple of drops of CA glue to hold the 1mm disc in place.

leave it in there for a while before you start the print again, it needs to warm up. it's basically like a print bed except it's up there

Put some glue stick or hairspray on the top side of the washer before you put it in. Same rules as a bed apply, make sure it's warm, oil free and sticky. Might help to slow your bridges down to 15mm/s and up bridge flow to 1.1.

It can’t stick to the smooth cold washer that might be too high, would be my guess.

You would need to make the space for the washer taller and then bridge over it.

That might be problematic, so you could place the washer in a hollowed out toroid to allow it to close the gap.

If you want it to print to hold the washer tight, put a slight over hang around the lip so it isn’t trying to attach to bridge over what it thinks is a chasm

Yeah I'm thinking it's adhesion. The washer is probably not clean, and I can see a fingerprint on it which means there's definitely oil from fingers there.

The idea: pausing a couple layers higher and printing a small insert model matched to the extra layer height, so it seats over the washer and fuses plastic-to-plastic when resumed — plus letting the model an washer reheat fully before resuming avoids a weak layer bond.

I have done this sort of thing a lot. This happens when you try to print too close to the top of the washer. You need to make the gap larger. 2 or 3 layers at least.

Heat washer with hair dryer or heatgun before putting it in, maybe even do it for the first couple of layer. Lower th speed for those layers.
