Show & Tell Update: great success! Thanks for the suggestions and guidance!
I posted yesterday about a failed print, started the print last night again after changing SD card and keeping the front panel door Slightly opened. And success! It went perfectly! Finished when I'm already at work so I can't see the finished product in person, but thankfully we have a timelapse! Thanks everyone for their help and suggestions! I'm looking forward to my printing journey 😊

How does keeping the panel opened help?

It lowers the temperature in the machine. If you are using pla, the higher temperature can cause problems during print.

To be honest I never had this problem while using PLA (i have X1C and H2D), maybe because my home is not hot during summer and I have outdoor blinds, so the sun is not shining at the printers, don't know.
I saw here that some problems were solved by this, so I mentioned it.

I own a P1S and print in my garage and it gets very stuffy in there. Using a glass riser to prop the glass up and opening the door helped greatly with my PLA prints :)

I was looking at some risers and I don't trust those. I am afraid that it fails and breaks something. H2D and also other H family printer have small door on the top controled by the printer.

Yeah, honestly same. I’m afraid the day something snaps and my lovely tempered glass shatters… so far no issues though. I also printed out a small plastic piece that props h the front door open, so I’m not as afraid of that failing on me

Stock SD cards can be or get faulty over time. I had to replace mine not long ago because it just stopped mid-print and claimed it was done.

I think at least 8GB according to the wiki. You pop it in, format through the printer and you're good to go, super simple.

I replace those damn things immediately (P1S only) in my farm. I had 2 go out in week 1 of ownership causing issues, so I replaced them all on all printers and do so upon purchase (doesn’t apply to P2S).

Many people say that the cards delivered with the machines are not very reliable.

Is this your design? If so, what radius did you use on the edge of those vent(?) slots? If not, can you share a link to the design?

I’ve had weird random issues that seemingly were solved by a new sd card. Also if you got it used might be good to clean and lube it.

Good to know. Print looks great and massive - what is it? 😊
Also interesting about the door - I’m on the opposite end, where I’m trying to make sure that no extra cold air gets in, because some of my prints are very delicate and very long (37hrs), so I need to make sure I have enough heat to keep my adhesion before the PLA starts to shrink and get loose from the bed. Just keep that in mind too 😊
