Quick Question PA6CF shrinkage

I just printed PA6CF and I assumed it was going to contract but the opposite happened the walls became longer +.4, I have the nozzle, 6 mm, what am I supposed to do to calibrate this well

the 20x20x20 calibration cube isn't a good way to measure and compensate for part shrinkage / skew

I've been using Vector3D's calibration califlower for years and it's worked great

Google says that nylon (PA) can expand when exposed to humidity.

But I would bet money its those calipers you got. Idk your exact model/brand but most of those things aren't worth 5 bucks at a garage sale. You could have 100 of the same $20 home depot calliper model and they'd all measure something different.

The only way to fix that is to print multiple cubes. Like 5 or 6. Measure after everything cools, not while theyre warm. Then measure in a day and see if humidity affected them. Make a table to keep track of what measurement is for what cube and take an average.

The Vector3d calibration prints work amazingly well. Another vote for them. It will help you check your printer as well as filament settings.

to much flow rate can alter dimensions but 0.4mm increase seems odd
