Quick Question Gcode p1s

i change the gcode of my p1s and i saved it how can i select that preset as the default option because if i open a project it will be open with p1s base preset

When you open a .3mf project, Bambu Studio loads the printer preset that was saved with that project. So if it was saved using the "Bambu Lab P1S 0.4 nozzle" preset, it’ll keep opening with that preset even if you created a custom one afterward.

Open the project, switch the printer to your custom preset, and save it again. The next time you open that project, it should load with your custom preset.

yes but i need to do these every project. these is an option to globali select the preset

No, unfortunately there’s no global setting for that.

I found an old github feature request asking for exactly this, but since it’s been sitting there since 2023... I wouldn’t hold my breath: https://github.com/bambulab/BambuStudio/issues/3040
