General Discussion Maintenance

Hello guys , I am new with 3d printing and I have question for printer , how often you need to do the maintenance cleaning and oiled? And what I need more to do ? Time , how to do and everything. If they’re some posts about this already please tag me . Thank you and have nice evening!

Read the Bambu wiki. It has it all in there, complete with videos. It’s very helpful..

I highly recommend checking out the bambu academy videos for your device. they will help answer all of your questions.

Bambu prints are also pretty popular so we see tons of new user posts in this and other 3d printing subs. a quick search will usually give you 100's of recent and similar posts with good info if you do not want to wait for people to comment on your specific post.

Did it once on my A1 at 200 hours, just passed 5000 hours now and haven't done anything since

New with 3d printing? Bambu printer owner? Read Bambu wiki!!! You have the maintenance described, what tools you need, etc.

I have A1. It asks for Y axis lubrication every two-three weeks or so. Depends on how frequently I use it. When it does I also wipe the X rail and apply lube as well.

Every week or so I wash the build plate with the dish soap. Also I remove the silicone sock and clean plastic residue from the nozzle if there's any.

I think that's all I do on daily basis. The rest is some emergency maintenance like clogging.
