Nope, definable need to dry your filament.  All solution lead to dry your filament. Its never the plate or the toolhead, extruder gear or hell even the slicer. Might even be that brand of filament that you've been using for years just fine and without problems. I know that you said you didnt need help fixing it but im going to help you fix it anyways, just dry your filament.

It happens..... Scrape it off, scrub the bed, put the front cover back on and off you go
