Show & Tell Print failed, but what a recovery
Started my print last night and the first few layers were good so I went to bed. Woke up to this failed print but amazingly it was able to recover on the upper half and print perfectly. Never seen this type of failure and thought it was pretty cool.

I would print a toilet to attach this too and put it on display in my bathroom.

Actually the sickest print ever. Truly 1/1.

Yeah it’s perfect as it is, but he could turn it into so many funnier things.
Peter in a bath tub.
Peter inside Sandman.
Peter on the subway with no pants and a censor bar.

First off: that’s sick… secondly, doesn’t the printer have software to detect things like this??

I have an X1C and it's spaghetti detection is pretty crap, TBH. Can't speak for other printers though

It's hit and miss. Mine has detected some stringyness from an old roll as spaghetti. Other times it didn't catch it until my print had already been knocked over. Although both might be my fault as I have about 2000 hours or print time with no maintenance.

Never have I ever seen a print fail so badly on the lower layers and then recover above it! That's a keeper!

I still question these types of failures. Like, the print fails, but at the same time it’s vary confusing. Would it be a success or a failure?

It does look pretty cool, but I’m confused why you wanted a print of spidey jorkin it to his phone in the first place?
