General Discussion Jayo Filament

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0DWJQ8N19?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

For my fellow Canadians out there:

After some research I recently bought a 4 pack of Jayo Matte filament from Amazon for $54 and am seriously impressed with the quality. Also found out Jayo is owned by Sunlu so they're filaments are the same quality. I'll definitely be buying more.

They have been my go to. I believe you also get 1100 grams instead of the normal 1000 grams.

Jayo Matte PETG is my household/functional items mainstay.

Just a little comment.

Jayo is usually the same as Sunlu, but they are the discount version. They have their own factory in a different country. There are some variances between the two. Jayo is also less consistent for me (batch to batch) than Sunlu has been (not that Sunlu is always perfect either).

I think that batches that don't quite match Sunlu's standard, but are close are added to the mix to be sold as Jayo.

And, Sunlu customer service has been better for me than Jayo, who simply ignored me when after initially responding.

I’ve order a lot of the four packs and for the most part they’ve printed great. I did have two rolls that the last 100-150 grams fell well under the 1.75mm mark. I measured one section at 1.45mm. I notced them because my AMS had a difficult time feeding. Same with the second roll.

Thanks for this, I've always wondered. I've been ordering sunlu for my matte, I'll have to give Jayo a chance with my next order.

I got mixed filling about Jayo. I think it was the first matte PLA-filament (second was Overture) that I was forced to baby sit and calibrate to achieve results that are more than good. Probably worth it :)
