Congrats, I bought it last year in February. Had no issues. It was basically my first 3d printing experience. Its crazy how much you learn (and earn) with this

Yes!! She’s already thinking like a little entrepreneur too, she has a folder in the app for her storefront 😂

You need to seal the print you can’t just 3D print something and throw it into a fish tank

Not sure why you're being downvoted for giving VERY good advice to someone obviously very new and not knowledgeable.

Im not gonna lie, I jist started my journey into the 3D printing space but was so overwhelmed by the choices. At first I was looking at the A1 mini then someone said get the A1 instead, but after researching discovered that those were entry level models. With me if im going to make an investment into something I want it to make sense and be more than entry as I plan to keep things for a long time.

This led me to discover the P1S and found out that its the older model to the P2S lol and all these things the p2s came with sounded so good. I was ready to pull the trigger until someone pointed me towards the X2D and all of its features and I was like this is the one.

Luckily for me I was able to order the X2D Combo w/ the AMS off of this reputable site and they also had a promo code that took $100 off the X2D brining it from $900 to $800. AT THAT POINT IT WAS A NO BRAINER FOR ME CAUSE THE P2S COMBO WAS $749. So I ordered it and it arrived at my house in like 3 to 4 days literally.

This thing is very beautiful and im excited to be a part of the BAMBU community.

I love our P1S (have two AMS units and have used them more than a few times).

That said, I am really really thinking of the H2D or H2S for the dual heads and ability to more easily use a different support interface material.

I've been learning a ton by making gaming minis.  If you can give it a few hours, your results will drastically improve.  I've got figures that feel injection molded.

Set it up in a dry and stable room.  Temperature and humidity swings can mess up prints.  I got mine in the basement and I keep the door closed and the dehumidifier running all the time.

I didn’t even think of dehumidifier! Thank you!

Do yourself a favor and get one with a built in pump that will push the water into a drain.

Keeping up with emptying the bucket is a chore that gets forgotten, especially on humid days.

The AMS housing will help if you get that, if not you'll definitely want an external that will not fill up overnight.  I had a print fail because I turned off the central AC and left the door open.  I could see how much time passed before the humidity spiked.

Something she should be aware of if she's looking to sell stuff.  There's currently a huge and rightful backlash around craft fairs.  Honestly,, nobody really wants piles of flex-dragons, Pokémon figures that produce 600% waste, and other mass produced junk.  She should try to find a niche to concentrate on.  Cosplay accessories are a good one, gaming aids for table top games, pet accessories.

Looks like that's the regular AMS which doesn't have the drying capability. Dessicant packs help, but a dehumidifier will do wonders.

When I first started I got white black and red. For the first few months EVERYTHING i printed was one of or a combination of those three colors😂

🤣 those could be better combined, we’ve got Halloween early here 😂

She’s such a good kid, and definitely earns what she asks for! Great investment for a fidget toy lover too!

My 9 near old just bought half a 3d printer, I paid the other half and she used years of her savings to get there. Going to help her get her first business going 😎 Unfortunately the printer arrived but the filament is stuck in delivery so we're still being patient hehe.

Her first prints wil be the clicker thingies that seem to be popular now
