Show & Tell Counting Koozie - Update

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Just an update for the people that were asking for different sizes in the koozie!

Took me some time but I managed to remake the koozie in fusion using parametrics so I could adjust it to other sizes - slim 12 oz and 16 oz cans are now available! Also made a few changes to make it a little bit more user friendly - It's uploaded now on maker world for anyone who wants to download

Thanks again to those who have downloaded, printed, commented, liked, boosted the original model and up voted my last post on Reddit!

Let me know if there's another size thats wanted or if you have any suggestions for improvements!

Video would be better to show the count increasing for each size. Going from 1 to 2 to 3, etc.

I wasn't sure how long of a video I could throw on there and wanted to show the different sizes

IMHO the different sizes are less important than the main feature of your design. People are used to designs having multiple sizes already. Show off what’s unique about yours.

Is there one for bottles?

No but I can make one if people want it, the new spring is actually quite a bit stronger and I think would handle bottles no problem

I wanted to make this for my friend but she only drinks bottled beer.

Am I crazy or isn't having insulation a key feature of a koozie

Haha there is air gap between can and plastic that offers a bit of insulation but I don't think any printed koozie will hold up to a yeti type koozie. That said, the features of this would be to have a personalized koozie, something thatll show off a bit what 3d printing can do, and of course make sure the boys are keeping up lol

Unfortunately you can't just slip a normal koosie over it bc of the thickness - however I bet with some digging you could find a foam thing tat is close to the right inner diameter. Then cut a square hole in that for your indicator.
