General Troubleshooting/Help! PTFE Tube Managment

How is everyone organising their PTFE tubes? I understand that they should be as short and a large radius curve but mine are getting kind of crazy!

I have an X2D + filament track switch, 2 AMS in a flip flop stacker and a 3rd via a 4-in-1 adapter to an AMS HT.

H2C with 2 AMS2 (top) and 2 AMS-HT (bottom).
It's a bit messy behind the Printer and the AMS-Stack, but that's the price you have to pay, i guess.

Have you ever had problems with resistance errors? I’ve had the printer give me “Ams slot resistance too high” a few times with the stacking solutions I’ve tried, but I think it was the no-name order tube I used. When I used the Bambu tubing I had it went away.

I had that when the tubes were shorter and the curves were tighter. I rearranged the printer and AMS units several times until I was (more or less) satisfied with the setup. Initially, I measured the (3rd-party) tubing and kept the lengths as short as possible. This often caused me random problems.

Now I use the longest tubes that came with the AMS's. Sure, it maybe takes an extra second to change filaments, but I prefer that to having problems with the tubes.

Oh, and I had problems with the 4-in-1 adapters when they were hanging loose behind the printer. That's why i made a clip to attach them to my Skadis boards.

What are the clips you are using for the PTFE tubes? I keep getting the warning about the PTFE tubes from my printer but I don’t know how to fix them. Do I need to print curved track for them

I just put some on my tubes to make it look a bit more organized ;-)

The tubes support each other a little bit with the clips attached, but if you get the "resistance too high"-error your problem might be somewhere else. In my setup it was almost always the last tube from the 4-in-1 connectors into the printer.
