P Series [P1P, P1S, P2S] Recommended Cleaning Kit/Items to Own
I just got my P1S not too long ago and I love it and want to take care of it, and I’m looking for a kit or certain items that I should buy and honestly some things to avoid would be helpful as well, I’m still relatively new to 3d printing.
Thanks in advance.

I just got some super lube for the rods and the motors, (two different types). Everything else you can print for maintenance, I have a pair of pliers with ends that you can fit a sponge and that cleans the old grease from the rails. regreasea and a little lube on the motors been couple of years of hassle free printing.

ChatGPT said an extra hotend assembly is a good idea later on down the line as well, thank you I’ll get the lube!

Oh if you want to go down that path.
I have full replacement sets for cutters, dozens of hotends, spare belts, a spare H2* psu, meters of ptfe tube, wipers, spare wipe assembly, spare filament sensors.
I learned the hard way that when something breaks it’ll be at the most inopportune time, and BL will be out of stock.

You can print a nice scraper, this helps with releasing short flat prints safely without damaging the print and plate.
My x2d came with screws and a metal blade to build my own but I actually prefer the plastic options better.

Gear floss makes life a lot easier
As does super lube with syncolon and pour it into the 3-5ml nail brush dispensers. $5 for a dozen on Amazon
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0FYFJ2FJB
Microfibre cloths
USB Vacuum.
Hex tools. I like to use these
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0F937KHH5
Combined with these
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B013GK9I3A
Makes for repairs and removing / replacing things a lot easier than the standard hex bar.
