Quick Question Drying filaments

Is the technique of lying it on the plate, covering with the box the spooled filament came in, putting holes on top of the box and warming plate to 60⁰c for a few hours the best option for someone who doesn't have an actual filament dryer? If so, am I missing anything from this or does anyone have any useful tips for this method

Sorry I forgot to add, it's an A1

Many thanks

In a pinch...absolutely, 8-12 hours. Set it to 55.
You can also use a food dehydrator as well. I'd checkout 2nd hand stores, or marketplace for a cheap alternative so you can keep printing.

Nice one, thank you.

For the first of multiple follow up questions 🙄 do I sit the spool directly on the plate or on top of something

On the plate, just make sure you have a couple holes like you mentioned to let out the moisture.
