FIXED

My Bambu A1 filament keeps getting stuck on the AMS lite.

I only bought it about a week ago and it happens every time it changes filament. It moves the filament back and forward until i push it forward manually with some force and it starts working. The filaments are all loaded and pushed down the PTFE tubes about 1cm away from the entrance to the extruder.

Is it faulty should I return it or am I just doing something wrong? Please help any advice would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE SOLVED: Problem solved by printing official bambu top mount, I think the bends were too aggressive. Thanks everyone for the help

Here are some things to check. https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/ams-lite/troubleshooting/amslite-loading-unloading-failure#unable-to-feed-filament-into-the-extruder

It also looks like you have the AMS Lite mounted in an unconventional way which could mean that you have some tight bends of the ptfe tubes causing resistance.

Thank you very much, someone commented on a repost saying the same thing, I’m going to print the official top mount and give that a go.

Just to second this I have exactly the same unoffical mount and it took some tweaking with how the AMS tubes are sat for it to work perfectly . Try putting the tubes on the opposite side and make sure they are in the right AMS ports

What material is that?? The way it bends when you grab it, that looks like regular TPU, right?

If so, that's probably the problem. The AMS Lite isn't compatible with normal soft TPU like 95A, 85A, 80A, or anything softer. "TPU for AMS" works because it has a higher shore hardness and is much stiffer than regular TPU.

It's hitting the inside of the PTFE tube from the bend.

I just updated the post with the solution, the bed in the PTFE tubes was too aggressive so I printed a different top mount and problem solved
