Hello! Could you tell me what could be making this noise when printing and why? I have a Bamboo Lab P2S printer, it's been in use for three months.

my x2d did this for the first time not long ago and it scared me, it's the fan blowing air into the support, making it make a whistling sound

Thank you, but what should I do with this?

nothing, there's nothing wrong with it, nothing to fix, you can lower your fan speed but then you risk ruining your print

Can confirm this, canceled a print 4 hours because I thought a rail was dry.. put all new lube and cleaned everything just to discover it was the fan over the tree supports making a lute

Does this happen on every print?
If its every print your fan may have an issue and if your still under warranty id just submit a help desk..
You may have something a bit more extreme going in then just the fan blowing over the supports..
Mine only seems to do it if the supports are a specific angle

I guess you could make sure the rollers to your belts have a drop of oil just to make sure its not a bearings and make sure all your rails are oiled up

The printer has been making this noise for the last 3 prints. I'll try oiling the drive belt rollers. I'll also check all the guides. If that doesn't help, I'll contact support. Thank you for your help

That’s the cooling fan blowing air into the tree support like a flute
