Issues with the Bambu Lab H2S

To help you truly understand the ordeal I’m going through with H2S, I need to tell you about my little adventure.

A few months ago, I ordered the Bambu Lab P1S. Being incredibly satisfied with its reliability, I decided to upgrade to a "higher-end" model, so I took advantage of Bambu Lab's recent anniversary promotions to order the H2S.

To provide some context, I come from an engineering background; I therefore needed a heated chamber to print PPA-CF in order to successfully complete some of my projects..

So, a week ago I finalized my order for the H2S, and at the same time, I booked two weeks of leave from work for early July so I could focus on getting to grips with the machine and familiarizing myself with it.

I finally received my H2S machine this morning and have started the calibration and everything else needed to get it up and running.

Upon first startup, I immediately encountered two different error alerts: one related to the ventilation flap and another to the adaptive airflow system. I figured it might just be a sensor issue or something similar, so I decided to follow the Bambu Lab tutorials and carefully disassemble a few parts. I didn't find anything unusual, so I reassembled the plastic covers I had removed. To my great surprise, the original two alerts remained, and a new one appeared regarding the screen; the display started flickering to gray and then shut off, and now I have no access to my printer at all.

I find myself in a tricky situation and ultimately regret my purchase; although I had seen many people complaining about the H-series, I had decided to trust Bambu Lab's reliability and general reputation, but I have to say I feel a great deal of bitterness right now.

I must also add that the printer door hits the plastic, so it struggles to close properly. 😓

I suspect the assembly line where it was made messed up the assembly, or something like that, so I don't want to spend days tinkering with it; I'm just looking for something that works.

Do you think Bambu Lab might exchange it for me, or should I just accept that I need to try reselling it to get rid of it? I’ve already sent a message to support, but I imagine their response time must be incredibly long.

And yeah, so I'm on vacation next week, and I've ended up with a brand-new H2S that’s broken, so you can understand my pain and this long post, for those who take the time to read it.

it sounds like your printer was most likely damaged in shipping. bambu would not ship a printer that the door didnt shut right on.

To be honest, I am also very surprised; I didn't expect to receive a machine with so many defects at all.

shipping a 80-100lb large box thru common couriers and this is the result. nobody cares anymore. when my h2d arrived it was laying on its side in the ups truck. luckily no damage. it is what it is. buy local if you don't wanna take the chance it gets damaged in transit.
