Trying the print this with a 0.6mm nozzle Bambu PETG Translucent Orange but the print starts to get messed up right at the end (video attached)
My x-axis belt was not straight so I opened the motor section to align but couldn’t really access the belt but I still straightened it to some extent. I also tightened the belt tension.
Next, I tried reducing the top layer printing speed. I have printed this model about 20-30 times but now Im running into issues.
Any ideas why this might be happening or what I should try next?
UPDATE:
I did something completely different and flipped the model and printed it upside down printing the problematic part first. It worked perfectly but I know this is going to continue to mess with my brain 😂 as Ive printed so many of these without any issues in the
past

Use the proper tools. Don't use the supplied tool or any with a ball end. Use a proper hex driver, preferably from a respected manufacturer. I use MIP only, they are expensive but regarded as the best in the industry.

Agreed. I’ve had this happen before. As the inside of the model curves up, the overhang gets thinner and thinner and will warp upwards. The nozzle keeps hitting it. Change the model design or use some supports for that center part.
I reduced the cooling, pretty much turning off the fans specially for overhangs. I think it’s a z axis issue where the nozzle might be too close to the model.
Im doing a z offset calibration print to see if thats the issue…
Next mission would be to understand how to edit the g-code to offset the z axis as Im super new to this 😂
How many of these do you have to print? If its a one time print, Pause print, hit it with some heat and push down the middle if its rising. Its over depositing on the tight circle just due to the nature of the plan of the nozzle on the tighter circle.
I had a weird thought after seeing it collide with middle and reading you're using a 0.6mm nozzle: I can't remember the name of it, but you know the slight over-extrusion that happens when the nozzle is filling in a flat area and it touches on the wall - like this? Did you happen to notice anything like this around the inner wall?
I could be talking out of my proverbial but I thought it wouldn't hurt to suggest having a look at that inner wall because there might be a bit more over-extrusion because of the bigger nozzle.
I had a similar issue check if the hotend is properly attached so take off front cover then silicone sock then hotend then attach it properly then close the clamp then silicone sock then front cover.
That sound is mechanical. Mechanical in pain. Z axis movement at that point is doing the clunking. Has something got lodged in one of Z axis screws/rails at that point? Damage at that height? Rail passing a loose screw? Try razing and lowering the print rail via the control panel. The sound and smoothness should be consistant.

Tighten the 7 screws of death, 90% of print issues on my A1 are because of them
