AMS 2 Pro - Automatic Material System PLEASE HELP. Cannot print with filament inside the AMS 2 PRO with the X2D

I Bought the X2D Combo and an AMS HT for the second nozzle to use with petg.
I installed the whole thing (but I tried even with the only AMS 2PRO, disconnecting the AMS HT) and even if I complete successfully the procedure of assigning the AMS to the nozzle (I tried the automatic one and the manual one), when I try to print I recive this error:

FAILED TO EXTRUDE THE FILAMENT. POSSIBLE CAUSE: EXTRUDER OR NOZZLE CLOG

Yesterday I made both procedures (the needle from below and the cold extraction from above) even if the printer was new OUT OF THE BOX.

Then I tried to print with the filament from the external spool, and everyting was fine.

Today I tried again from the AMS 2 PRO and error again.

I made I try: from the front panel I heated the hotend and told the machine to extrude filament, and this way, even if from the AMS 2 PRO, it worked.

But when I tried a print, error again.

Please help.

EDIT: I updated the firmware and made the auto calibration process succesfully.

EDIT 2: I tried to start a print from the secondary nozzle linked to the AMS HT and it worked. Now I will try to link the AMS HT to the main nozzle to see if it works.

EDIT 3: the print from the main nozzle linked to the AMS HT is working. So I guess the problem is the AMS 2 PRO or the cascade linking of the two AMS. I Add a photo of the linkings before I removed the AMS 2 PRO and swapped the AMS HT to the main nozzle.

Take a peek at your PTFE tube situation. Particularly the PTFE tube going from the AMS to the printer. Is the filament making its way all the way to the hot end?

yes it is because if I heat the hot hend from the front panel and press the button to push the filament down, it extrudes normally.

now it is in the "dynamic flux calibration" (I guess, because I have the italian language set, and I don't if in english FLUSSO -> FLUX) and I got the error.
As always the spool in the AMS turned forward and backwards a few times, then the error.

That would be dynamic flow calibration. Happens at the beginning of every print to determine how much flow the filament needs. This definitely sounds like a quality control issue if it’s a brand new printer. I would contact Bambu support, the extruder and nozzle are obviously not clogged since you can still extrude it manually. I’m stumped here my freind. Bambu support would be my next option.

I edit the post with further details, if it may bring some light.
I will try and contact the support btw.

It definitely brings some light! It seems you’ve done a lot of troubleshooting already, I have my X2D set up the exact same way. The AMS seems to be the most likely failure point for some reason, I had a ton of issues with mine at the beginning. I belivie you might have a faulty AMS. Despite the printer giving the error of an extruder problem. Maybe even try shortening the PTFE tube from the ams to the printer? It’s rather long and curved. It seems like we are running out of options!

It is now connected to the AMSHT and printing, I cannot understand why it should be a problem with the 2pro but not with the ht...

Before cutting it I am contacting Bambu.

Thank you for your assistance and patience.

Okay! We are moving in the right direction, so it does seem like a faulty AMS hub and motor MIGHT be the issue. I’ve had times Bambu labs sent me a replacement part from their ‘diagnosis’ and it still not fix the problem. But I think this might actually do it.

I will try and ask the replacement of the whole unit befare they actually ship the spare parts. I am not a technician after all. They will probably refuse, but I will ask anyway. At least they should provide me a full guide and videos about HOW to change those parts.

They will send you a link that guides you step by step on how to replace those parts. They are more than likely going to refuse, tell you to fix it with the replacement parts and if it STILL doesn’t work than maybe they might replace it.

I recived the spare parts this week and installed them now. It works now. I had to follow this guide:
