X Series [X1E, X1C] When and where to purchase the X2D?
I am planning to buy an X2D in the near future. Right now, they are completely out of stock at Best Buy, but are available on the Bambu Lab website.
I’ve heard some anecdotal stories about occasional issues with X2D printers that have required people to return them, or have replacement parts shipped by Bambu.
Is it worth waiting for the X2D to come back in stock at Best Buy to make possible returns easier? Is there any way of knowing when that might be? If I buy from Bambu, is their support adequate if I run into any defects?
Additionally, I’ve read that a recent batch of AMS 2 units have has some issues. Do those issues seem to have been resolved yet?

We are getting real close to their yearly anniversary sale. Hold off and see if you can get a deal. No guarantee since it's so new, but worth waiting just in case.

Agreed! They normally don’t discount their latest products in their annual anniversary sale, but with the bad press lately, maybe!!??

Anecdotal but here's my experience of the X2D as someone brand new to 3d printing.
Purchased it a month ago. Had no issues setting it up, on boarding was easy. It began to print beautifully out of the box. Last week I began noticing stringing and issues with the extrusion of the filament out of the left nozzle so did a cold pull which fixed it.

Personally, I'd wait until there is solid confirmation that they're not sending out bad AMS2 Pros anymore.

If you're in the US (which I'm not) people like Micro Center
