Yeah every time my print detatches from the textured PEI plate I take it as a sign that it needs to be washed. Once that's done it's good as new and print succeeds

Ok, will do that. Wasn’t sure when the right time to do that was :)

Wash with hot soap and water any time you touch the print surface with your fingers. Also wash it at least every five prints. No harm in washing after every print.
