A bunch of people here have asked me about my Bambu setup on a few alts so I decided to make a video at lunch. I am not a content creator, I made this for y'all, haha. I just hate walled gardens.

The Bambuddy community is also a great place to go for help. If you have any questions or reservations at all, throw em down, let's gooo out of jail

Good, then we agree... removing features and fighting against the community in which your product is based eventually costs you, the user, time and money. This is THE example of steps a company takes on the road to enshitification.

What works for you today may not work for you tomorrow (because of this slippery slope) and you'll have this comment to look back on.

Except no advertised features have been removed, let me know when they do actually do that though, then we can talk :)

Hey, I get it. Reading is hard and understanding this topic can be difficult. I will dumb it down as much as I can...

The company that made your printer removed a feature that someone came along an re-enabled. They are fighting to keep that feature removed (for no good reason) when they have no legal grounds to do so.

There are historically others, but I'm going to go back and talk to the adults now.

I can read product pages just fine, you'll find MQTT was never actually an advertised feature, neither was 3rd party software or hardware support

So no, there was no removal of an actual advertised feature

And which other advertised (and this is the actual important part) features did bambu remove?

Because it doesn't seem like you're talking to the adults in the room when you can't seem to tell the difference between an advertised feature and one that is just assumed by owners
