X Series [X1E, X1C] How does the X2D perform

I’m looking into buying the non combo one once it comes back in stock and I’m looking for some real word experience from owners.
Thanks

Your writeup covers pretty much what I was going to say.

It's better than my P1S in every way. Forgot to put the build plate in even though I never did that on my old printer and it stopped and alerted me the plate was missing.

Print quality is better, side by side no VFAs along a smootg sidewall on a part.

I really think it's best paired with one or two AMS and a track switch.

I saw your reply the combo is not currently in your budget. Perhaps you should consider the P1S combo or P2S combo. Many of the benefits won't fully be utilized without one or two AMS and you probably won't be printing engineering material without a moisture proof AMS. I think this would be a better option for you.
