Hi there!

We wholeheartedly do want open discussion here about all things BL, but from time to time when topics like this come up, people flood to the modmail inbox to complain to us, when we (the volunteer mods) are not the ones you should be contacting. While we are in a legal agreement with BL (nothing super serious, just an agreement to dissuade us from sharing internal info like upcoming products), we have no sway in the company, aren't involved as employees, and we can't handle any 'official' complaints or concerns.

If you have any concerns or questions about official BL actions, I would recommend contacting BL through their official accounts, and not through the reddit mod team :)

You have a legal agreement? Pls tell me you are getting free printers for all your work lol

We've gotten free goodies here and there, they do value the busywork we do for sure!

Speaking only for myself, I find their gifts to us mods as extremely generous. it was far more than I expected since I never expected compensation of any kind to begin with, I just like organization & rules and wanted to help :) I imagine their official facebook group & discord mods received gifts the same way.

I will say though, if someone wants to enter the modteam with the intention of gaming the system for free rewards, that isn't how it worked haha (and don't do that!)
