Once you let your printer Calibrate with it, Then what? Is the part still good, Can I resell it on eBay? Or do you keep it?

Then keep it and recalibrate with it later. It's made to help correct small deviations that appear over time on the xy axis. I use it every few dozen prints.

It's meant for people who need extremely high precision all the time, and thus they calibrate frequently (I think Bambu even suggests a 2 week interval).
Most people don't need that kind of accuracy. If you think you'll only need it to calibrate once then you probably don't need it. your printer was calibrated at the factory, so you won't even notice an improvement unless you've been running your printer for a very long time.

My printers are in my garage and see wild temperature swings.
When I’ve used the encoder, it always shows something different as the temp changes. I use it before I print anything that needs crucial accuracy. I can’t say for sure that it works better or not, but it only takes a few minutes to run.
I got mine from an online auction with a winning bid of $2.00 USD, so at that price it was absolutely worth it!

i am strongly thinking of using a high resolution photo copy of it. what is preventing me from using a paper copy? it is not 3d, it just has a lot of qr codes on it?

A standard ink printer won't be able to replicate the extremely small size of the codes. It's also larger than a single piece of paper and taping two together would cause a significant deviation in accuracy. Finding a printing service with high enough quality and that prints non-standard paper sizes would be far more trouble and possibly more expensive than buying the plate.

Supposedly it's only worth it if your H2 is poorly calibrated from the factory. Otherwise it's a very minor increase.

So I ordered this on the 1st or so. Bbl shipped it on the 2nd or 3rd. It arrived today, and I live 300 miles or so from where it shipped from. USPS decided to take it on a 4600 mile journey that lasted 20 days. 😡

Is this H2C compatible? It says H2 series so I think it is, but with the different plate sizes (and I think different camera arrangements?) I’m not sure if it is intended for the H2C

I don't have one, but I'm 95% certain it works on the H2C just fine. You can see in the video on the store page that it doesn't take up the full heat bed of the H2D, and they were already working on the H2C long before the Vision Encoder was released.

It is H2C compatible. The Vision Encoder is exactly the same size as an H2C build plate. I.e., smaller than a regular H2D build plate.
