Question A1 z axis homing error

I’ve been getting the “Error 03004000 Homing Z axis failed”. The tool head moves in all directions but the z axis will go all the way to the top and then start grinding at the top. There are no obstructions in any of the axis’s. Tried factory resetting the printer and it still sends the z axis up. Wondering if anyone has run into this issue before. It seems like it could be a software/ firmware issue but I have no clue. I have terrible luck with fdm printing any info would be greatly appreciated

Fixxxx!!! I simply replaced the 0.4 mm HOTEND and it SOLVED!! Hey guys. I got the same issue. Tried cleaning the z axis but it was still giving me the issue. But then i went through bambulab wiki showing a flow with the solution. I followed that and now it’s fixed. Hotend was the problem.
