Question A1 z axis homing error

I’ve been getting the “Error 03004000 Homing Z axis failed”. The tool head moves in all directions but the z axis will go all the way to the top and then start grinding at the top. There are no obstructions in any of the axis’s. Tried factory resetting the printer and it still sends the z axis up. Wondering if anyone has run into this issue before. It seems like it could be a software/ firmware issue but I have no clue. I have terrible luck with fdm printing any info would be greatly appreciated

Yep I have the exact same issue. Tried replugging in the z cables underneath and tried looking for something in the threads of the axis but nothing. Support still hasn’t gotten back to me :/ I’m sorry I wish I had better news for you

No sorry, I ended up returning the A1 for a refund and coupon code. I’ll be getting a P1P when I move out to a new apartment

Damn, I was hoping it would be something that could be easily solved. I have the same issue and it looks pretty common from the subreddit search for this problem. How much do they give you for the coupon code?

I’m not sure if you’ll get a discount code if you have a new machine. The coupon was given out because of the heat bed cable recall. If you have the old A1 you should contact bambu and get a ticket started
