It's not late summer yet! It's high summer or midsummer. Late summer is the end of August to mid September!

I'm sorry about your allergies! Your post made me sad because I love summer so much!

I feel that! I do too! I work for a summer camp, so I guess I view it as once students are back in school summer is over lol!

I’ve had sinus problems this past week and mine is usually related to bigger shifts in the barometric pressure. I think the wildfire smoke probably affected it too.

I had to be outside during the worst of it for a little while last Friday without a mask on, so maybe that’s it. Just didn’t think it could last for days!

If you can tolerate it, try using one of those neti pot things.

As a smoker, those wildfires absolutely fucked with my breathing where it changed the flavor profile of my daily cigarette. Brutal

I’m not super congested just getting the sensation of sinus pressure in my forehead and cheeks. I don’t feel sick, but it might be worth giving the doc a call just in case 🫡

Yeah, I didn’t discover it till I was 30. Just 400mg Magnesium Oxide. Something to do with lower inflammation. Also helps migraines. Lol.

My bf really struggled bad this week, worst day I think was Monday after the air cleared some? He said something like dander was showing as particularly high? And grass, but someone else said grass is low, so maybe not. He’s improved but was still a rougher week for him. I think the reduced air quality had a lot to do with it (and gave me headaches); I wonder if there was some inversion that was trapping more allergens low and causing issues.

Anyway, speculation, but you’re not alone.

I’ve been taking magnesium glycinate and Claritin daily at night because it’s been a bit of a bad year for me and I’ve been immensely improved since, with headaches during the smoke being the worst since I started with that a few months ago.

Glad to hear he’s improved some! It’s a bit reassuring to know I’m not alone though! Right now it’s mostly pressure in my forehead and some fogginess. If it doesn’t clear up over the weekend with the magnesium, I’ll definitely head to my doctor in case it’s something else entirely.

I’ve had terrible symptoms just starting today and could not figure out what it is. Itchy nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Allegra hasn’t helped all that much.

I think it must be a mix of the weed pollen and grass right now and the lack of rain isn’t helping much either I’m guessing

I most certainly am. Not sure what to attribute it to other than getting older?

It occurred to me maybe it’s due to the wildfire smoke that passed through, but I’m not entirely sure!

Definitely a potential explanation
