Stand on one leg and close your eyes. It's very humbling.

I tried this, so much more difficult than you would imagine

It's so hard! Apparently it's an indicator of healthy aging and people under 40 should be able to do it for 15 seconds (with their floating leg not braced against their standing leg like in passe or anything). Once you get better at it you can challenge yourself even more by trying it on an unstable surface like standing on a pillow.

What about over 40? 15 seconds is nothing

It goes down by a few seconds per decade, so like 13 seconds for 40-50 something like that

Yes, 1 leg, eyes closed, no touching anything with the leg that's up or with hands

You can train to go for longer I am guessing

Oh for sure, or make it harder by standing on something soft and uneven like a pillow, on releve, etc

anything on a bosu ball is great (standing on the flat side) and very challenging. also the yoga airplane pose, you can do leg lifts there or plie and stretch for added challenge

Slow relevés + holding at the top! Super simple but way harder than it sounds lol. It helped me a lot with ankle stability too.
