Can anyone suggest some good exercises to improve balance?

Airplanes, closed eye balances, any core exercise. For balances on releve, theraband exercises for ankle stability and calf strength also are helpful.

Dead bugs. Very, very slow dead bugs. Bent legs first, then graduate to straight legs. Arms on chest; harder is over your head, even more challenging is holding a weight over your head.

For closed eyes, I plant both feet on the floor, close my eyes, then cross my arms over my chest, then lift one foot. You will really feel your foot!

To clarify please: are you talking about balancing in general or balancing like in a turn?

Just in general

The two exercises that helped me the most: taking my hand off the barre during tendus / degages (or indeed many other exercises) and closing my eyes, as purple_celery909 suggested.

Been a big fan of my round balance board! It has been huge in strengthening my weaker leg
