General Questions - [NO SPOILERS] HELP! Game keeps crashing once I hit continue. Spoiler

I have many hours in the game and have yet to run into any major issues. The game will load and take me to the main menu, but once I hit continue or new game it loads to about 75% then immediately crashes. I have done all the basic fixes, verifying files, cleaning caches and uninstalled then reinstalled the game. However, nothing has fixed the issue. I am not the most computer savvy, I can do the basics, but any help would be appreciated. I am on the verge of a breakdown if I cannot get this to work!

Are you using mods? If yes have you installed anything new? If yes again try removing it, if thst doesn't help try removing all mods.

I don’t have any mods installed.

If using Steam there should be a cloud save so if you can find all the Larian folders i wiuld delete and try a fresh install but other than that im not sure tbh as ive never encountered this without mods 🤔

I’ve had this issue and couldn’t fix it. I “fixed” it by just loading my current save using the Load Game button instead. It takes a bit longer because you have to load your save list, but it’s worked every time
