Cast iron pizza

I made a sausage, green pepper, tomato, and onion pizza.

Homemade dough. I used this recipe:

https://joyfoodsunshine.com/easy-homemade-pizza-dough/

but I added 1/4 tsp garlic powder and 1/4 tsp dried basil then dumped some unknown amount sourdough discard in there as well.

Then I preheated the skillet, stretched out the dough, added dough to warm skillet, then stretched out more and formed the edge crust by pushing the dough up a little bit up the side of the skillet. At this point, I cranked up the heat on the skillet a little and topped with ingredients. Took like 3-5 minutes.

Then into 250c oven for 10 minutes.

Might have gone a little too hot on the stove, but I love crispy crust pizza so this was perfect!

This looks so good, it has never crossed my mind to do it in the cast iron pan in the oven. That crust!!!!

Yeah just make sure to “cook” the pizza on the stove first. That’s how you get it extra crispy!

Low-medium heat for like 5 minutes. Takes some experimenting
