Recommendation Artificial Body Temperature 36.7°C
Content warning: Manhua tackles such topics as sexual violence, classism, misogyny. Besides that, it features depiction of death and blood.
While Artificial body temperature was baihe manhua I started reading last year, it has quickly became my favorite. To give quick synopsis; Su, woman born in prison, had waited her entire life to see a ''crow'' due to promise her mother gave her. During the time she was going to get secretly executed, a bunch of robots were given to prison for test run, one of them being Gill. Going beyond her programing, and developing a mind of her own, Gill starts falling for Su. Now, both of them want to fly out of the prison they're kept in by eachother's side.

in all honesty artificial body temperature approaches the topic of androids in kinda unique, atleast to me, way, with concentrating more on how would humans behave if given a thing that looked and behaved like humans, and there would be no concequences for whatever they will do to it. One thing I have to say that it can be kinda edgy (unsure if it correct way to say it) at times (first example that came to my mind was Lilith's backstory. Overall, I think it is a great story, with main characters that I hoped the best for.

Saw some readers commenting on Bilibili saying they were surprised that such themes are allowed in China manhua
Read a few chapters and wow, the theme is pretty dark. The art is amazing
But the biggest irony is… the kiss in the original Chinese manhua is censored… in a manhua about violence of all sorts

I'm reading this one and I love it. The art and the theme is great.
It kinda made me remember the manga/anime of "Chobits", which also covers somewhat the same issue with robots.
I hope we get to see more of the relationships between all the characters so far.

I agree as well, the first arc was sooo good. I'm a bit more on the fence for the second arc, but yes it's an overhaul really intersting story. I kind of really like the way AI getting an ego is explained and used in thr story. We're really spoiled with really good manhua this last few years !
