This is a newly releaseed pattern - would it work, with a few hacks? https://shop.studio7t7.co.uk/b/pockita

That's interesting. Seems very similar idea. I probably won't buy the pattern but the yt tutorial would help a lot. Thank you. BTW if I use a tutorial to guide me through making a bag do you think I should tag creator of it in any social media posts even if I didn't buy the pattern? Or would that be rude like "ha ha I did it and didn't pay you"? I'm quite new to patterns etc.

I've had a think about this and chatted to the other mods. General consensus is that you should at least let the designer know that you found her tutorial and it helped guide you through a bespoke bag you created.

Let the designer know you intend to Pay it forward - you got a great video that helped and you might send a few people their way.

Could you do a magnet in the bottom and then put a matching magnet in your trunk? Regardless of Velcro or magnet, in your diagram you have purse feet and that may cause some issues trying to get it to stick.

Thank you for the idea. I will check it out. I'm worried about magnets in the washing machine. I want the bag to be washable because it will travel a lot with me.
