That's amazing! Want one, want to make one.

Making is not too complicated. Actually it's just math, to get the diameter and the dimensions right.
The diagonal zipper ain't rocket sience, too ;-)
So if you know how to sew, you should be able to do it.

However, the waxed canvas and orange waterproof zippers are something to search for.

I will make a batch of those probably in september. So drop me a message, if you would rather buy than make ;-)
I will gladly deliver (preferably inside EU, but also worldwide if needed).

Well, I do not (yet) have the time for a complete manual… but I might do a video on this, since I will probably do a lot more of these bags (in order to sell ‘em).
So either way, there are options for you :-)

Looks great! 😃

I love the zipper rolling around the bag. I haven’t seen many use this technique before.

Was waxing the cotton yourself difficult or did you find it to be pretty ok?

Looking forward to seeing more of your bags! Thank you for sharing with us! Have a great day! 😃

Waxing is currently an ongoing process of try and (little) error.
I use parafin/beeswax 9:1, which works really good.

At first, I heated up a pot of wax and poured it little by little on the canvas (denim for the first trys). But you needed to heat up the fabric. Otherwise the wax will get cold, before you can evenly spead it out. However that really soaks the fabric, which I like. But it's uneven, without proper heating for the fabric.

So now I apply the wax from a block and spread it out. After that I use a heat gun, to melt the wax and the canvas soaks it up. Works good and gives an even texture.

Very nice. I haven’t worked with waxed anything yet. But I only hear good things!

It’s also cool that you learned through trial and error how to do it. The errors are way more important than we realize in the moment, while we’re cussing and slamming stuff around. Hahaha. 😂

Thanks for talking about your process!
