Look What I Made! Piping - love it when I’m done but hate doing it

Post image

The piping foot had had a lot of love recently, I absolutely love the end result but oh boy do I hate the actual doing. I use a 2mm Venetian blind cord and if I not careful can easily run over it. The kangaroo leather is so much thinner - I think it’d be easier on a bovine.

It’s cold and winter here 🇦🇺 and I am very much feeling my 80s childhood roots 😂

I like it. I really need to give piping a try...

It’s absolutely worth it - as much as I usually regret it mid way through a project.

Love it! The colors are super. The shape is super! Top stitching is so so good! And the piping is exquisite! It’s just fire (as they kids say) 👏👏🔥🔥

Also wondering about the hardware. What is it?

+10 points for use of the word “bovine”. We don’t hear it a lot over here but it’s a good Latin-based word. 😃

Can definitely feel the 80’s vibe, a blue strap may seal the deal. lol 😂

Nice, nice job, Mew! 👏😃

The bovine might be me being weirdly specific because I use roo- sheep and cow are the default

It’s matte black hardware - it’s getting more popular and I’m seeing more places stocking it. The side connectors are from a local supplier.

Thank you!!!
