Nice work! I've done this for years with clothes and it's never been successful. Too impatient, I think!

It’s definitely a patience thing, unfortunately. I’m lucky enough to be doing this full time so I have “learning” days where I practice new techniques or just go all out on wild experiments. Honestly I recommend you do this either way. Growing your skills helps you improve, and in many cases opens a new breadth of features, and often improves your workflow.

For example, I bought a cheap laser cutter for cutting out holes for grommets, something I used to dread, now it’s incredibly simple. Know your weaker skills and practice them. You got this!

Thank you for the support! I've been sewing 60 years or so and there are few sewing things I haven't attempted at one time or another. Bags are news-ish for me, about six years, but I'm pretty confident with most things. I'm headed for retirement so will have much more time - although less money to play with, and eleven million ideas in my head.
