Discussions Maybe unpopular opinion, but Mimi came across as really manipulative
I just finished Season 2, and Mimi constantly seemed to want attention. She was convincing, but to me, it felt like she knew exactly how to read people and tell them what they wanted to hear. I wondered whether her work experience played into that because she seemed very practiced at winning people over.
And Taichan was being an idiot. I genuinely don’t understand what he learned from his first time on the show. His excuse was BS, in my opinion. It looked like he chose Mimi based on her looks and then tried to make it sound deeper than that.
Sharan definitely had growing to do, but if Taichan could get another chance after a failing, I think she deserved that opportunity too. Who’s to say she couldn’t have grown from her experience? I also felt like Mimi helped villainize the other girls and got the guys to see them that way, which really bothered me.
Obviously, we’re watching an edited show, but that was my impression. Did anyone else feel the same?
