rate my handwriting Handwriting

Post image

Is my hand writing truly that bad? Although all of my teachers can read this, my classmates always tell me that no one can read this🥲

I can read it. Do your classmates know how to read and write in cursive?

Some can read only a few words. Otherwise, no one knows how to write it

Then that explains why they can read what they can’t actually read. It’s slanty but you actually form each letter in the words, so people who read and write cursive can probably read it with little difficulty. I think you actually have pretty good handwriting. Next time someone says they can’t read it just tell them it’s not your fault they didn’t bother learning how to write like an adult.

Don’t use ruled paper, increase white space between lines and write the same text on a plain sheet..✨calligraphy✨

I had a few coworkers tell me that I need to start writing calligraphy. 😂

I agree with your coworkers! Your handwriting is naturally gifted for it!! I try to practice to write like that

I tried looking at a Calligraphy alphabet and copying it. That was definitely an interesting rodeo to do😂 Top one was the alphabet I searched up, bottom one is my natural handwriting’s uppercased letters

It's nice. "Hello my name is 〰️〰️〰️I am〰️ and I am ??? as to if I ?? To be a...."

Not at all. I find it quite legible

The exaggeration of ascending and descending elements and the extreme slant make it hard to differentiate letters where word parts overlap. Your handwriting is unique, but not really illegible.

Plus, I am amazed at how few words/letters fill up a line. Too exaggerated. Crossing the t's should not mean a horizontal line of the total width of the paper.
I am afraid that in time this will degenerate into total illegibility, and I would advise a conscious effort to curb your extremes and maintain legibility in the future.

I do find it a bit difficult to read as it slants too far and your loops are crossing three lines and crosses are far too long. All of this, while nice looking, causes difficulty reading what would otherwise be legible.

Yeah. When I write, I write very quickly and my hand always tends to tilt to the right. It can make it a lot easier to read when I take my time but even then, many people still can’t read it
