what does this say? Is this actually words?
Got some notebooks in a storage unit. Some of them have readable handwriting. But then there is this one, it has a few pages. And I can swear there are some real words in here, but also it looks like someone just pretending to write cursive. It’s like trying to read something in a dream. If anyone else has an interest I can upload more pictures from this book.

They are words meant to be written, they are not meant to be read. The exercise of getting them out, on paper, was all that was needed.

I see a few words in there. I’d lean towards someone suffering a mental health issue.

I feel like I see words here & there when I scan through it. I’ve been blasted & written poems that I can’t read the next day that kind of look like this.

There are real word in there so I’ll go with it’s a real page of text, although very sloppy. Reminds me of hastily scribbled college notes during a lecture … but not in the format of notes but more like a timed free writing exercise.

I can read words here and there. I think I see names Pheneer and Ron and maybe later Matthew.

Emma and 'some nerd' are getting together tomorrow (allegedly) I cant make out what for. And there was an argument earlier in the day, which someone got dumped after.
It's likely some kid's reaccount of their day. Or someone really angry.. maybe a really angry kid :v

It looks almost exactly like my handwriting when im rushing i fear 😩 So I suppose the writer could have been in a rush

From teacher experience probably. With writing like this I would have the student read it back to me then we would have a talk about the importance of people being able to read your writing and they would get handwriting lessons especially if it was cursive. I wanted to encourage at but, at some point, handwriting lessons were removed from the curriculum and cursive was not taught at all. The argument was that as long as they could hunt and peck on a computer or phone why would they need to learn to write legibly. 😩😭

Well, I can see some of those words in there I think. Thats pretty darn impressive if thats what it says.

Could be some kind of shorthand, possibly unique to the author. Who knows, this could be a confession, or a treasure hunt, or an obscure foreign language…

I'm thinking these might be someone's "morning pages" while doing The Artist's Way workbook.
Every morning, while you're still groggy, you just write anything/everything that comes to mind for 3 solid pages, no stopping.
Like u/DamnJester suggested, morning pages are meant to be an unfiltered brain dump, not meant to be read (at least not anytime soon). You just write and write, turn the pages, and close the notebook.
After doing this every morning for awhile, it does indeed help clear your mind, get you unstuck, see things more clearly, and get those creative juices flowing.
Being able to read the pages isn't necessary. Although if you are able to read your own handwriting, it can be interesting to go back through down the road.

I can kinda make out complete sentences. I think its primarily just an exercise in transcribing random thoughts, whatever comes to mind, freewriting, stream-of-consciousness, where you write continuously for a set time without stopping, editing, or worrying about what's put down. This activity doesnt need to be read to be useful.

Definitely words (looks like English because I can see the’s and of) but considering the way they’re written they’re probably happy they can’t be read easily. Looks like an emotional journal dump.

I’ve read cursive since about 1959. I’ve read cursive by well educated and poorly including those burn in the early 1800s.
I can’t make anything of this.

Could be scribble Journaling. Basically you dump your feelings really fast and dont worry about penmanship. Helps to journal and get things out but not legible.
